Page 9A SUDDEN DEATH.
(Correspondence of the Madisonian)Quite a gloom is this morning cast over our community by the announcement of the death of Miss Belle Sawhill. She died this morning at 8 o'clock, after an illness of about two weeks. A severe affliction, apparently, has befallen the family. Last March little Anna was given up; her mother followed her in November; and now, in so short a time, the heartiest one, in the bloom and vigor of life, is cut down. Mysterious are the ways of Providence. Belle was much loved and has left a large circle of friends to mourn her departure.

After a short illness Bell Sawhill, of Walnut, passed to her long home. She died last Tuesday morning. We extend a word of sympathy to the sorrowing ones left behind. May they not despair but look forward to the time when they will all meet, one happy family, in that land "Where the wicked cease from troubling and the weary are at rest.
