February 22, 1989Services for Margaretha C. Tracy, 84, Winterset, who died Feb. 19 at Des Moines General Hospital, will be held Friday, Feb. 24, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Frank Palmer officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery at Bridgewater.
Born at Bridgewater in Adair County on May 14, 1904, she was the daughter of Martin and Emma Reis Tracy.
She farmed in rural Winterset for many years and was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Scott Township Community Circle.
Survivors include brothers, Thomas of Des Moines and Richard of Peru; sister, Irene and Elma, both of Peru, and Marcella Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
