Mrs. William Hines Dies at Greenfield

Mrs. William R. Hines, a life-long resident of Adair county, died May 10 at the Greenfield hospital, following a stroke. She was 75 years of age.

Mrs. Hines was the former Clara Dorothy Konop, daughter of W. J. and Magdalene Kurtwell Konop. She was born near Hebron on Jan. 6, 1881, and spent her life in Adair county with the exception of two years in Nebraska. She was a member of the Hebron Methodist church.

She was married to William R. Hines on Aug. 22, 1906. They were parents of five children, one daughter, Dorothy, preceding her in death.

Surviving are her husband; three sons, Kenneth and Russell Hines of Greenfield; Gerald Hines, at home; and a daughter, Mrs. Howard Dean of Winterset. She also leaves four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the Hebron Methodist church May 13, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Earl Streyfeller. Burial was made in the Hebron cemetery.
