FRED COCHRAN Died Tuesday

Fred Cochran, a well known Madison county farmer and a life-long resident here, died Tuesday, May 16, 1961, at his farm home in Grand River township. He was 82 years of age.

Mr. Cochran was born April 25, 1879 in Grand River township, and spent his life there. He was married April 13, 1904, to Blanche Livingston, who survives him.

He was one of a family of seven boys and two girls. Five of his brothers, Frank, Will, John, Walter and Fields Cochran, and one sister, Mrs. Kate Steele, have preceded him in death.

In addition to his wife, he leaves three daughters, Esther Cochran of Winterset, Mrs. Warren Loehr of Lorimor; Mrs. William Caddy of Dearborn, Mich.; a son, Kirk Cochran of Lorimor; four grandchildren; a great grandchild; one brother, Lee Cochran of Lorimor; and a sister, Mrs. J. Ira Tucker of Macksburg.

Funeral services will be held this Friday at 2 p.m. from the Macksbsurg Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. Don Frank. Burial will be made in Moon Cemetery.
