Bob Pahre, 82, of Denver, Colo., died Jan. 26, 2006, at his home from complications associated with pneumonia.

Interment services were held Wednesday, Feb.1, at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver.

Bob was born Feb. 16, 1923, in St. Charles, Iowa, to H.O. and Geneva Pahre. He was the last if the Pahre family. Brothers Wendall, Warren, and Richard and sister Helen preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Mid; his previous wife, Marge Kipper; one daughter, Jaci; three stepchildren, Vicki, Mike and Idarae; and two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and 14 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Bob served in the Navy during World War II, then spent most of his life in the grocery business. He moved his family to Denver from Des Moines in 1961. He was a private, proud man who loved having family around. Having fun, laughter and joking were his greatest joys. He will forever be missed but live on in our hearts.
