OLIVER F. FINK

Oliver F. Fink was born October 26, 1910 in Madison County, Iowa, the son of Jacob and Mary Christina (Schmidt) Fink. He died September 18, 2003 at the Greenfield Manor in Greenfield, Iowa. Oliver lived his entire life in rural Iowa, engaged in farming south of Stuart and Earlham until his retirement. He loved the outdoors and especially raising his cattle.

He graduated from Stuart High School in 1929. He married Mae Marie Taylor on December 23, 1933 in Winterset, IA. The lived on their farm until Marie entered the Greenfield Manor in 1987 and Oliver too became a resident in 1989.

He is survived by one nephew, Claude R. Boyle of Des Moines; three nieces, Norma Jean Garwood and husband Jim of Albia, Maxine Huntington of Creston and Marilyn Fausch and husband Bob of Ames; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Fred, George, and Eldon Fink; and four sisters, Daisy Fink, Esther Boyle, Edith Lovell and Ila Lindahl.
