Shultz, A. - Grand River twp., farmer, Sec. 20; P.O. Macksburg; born in Switzerland in 1830; came to America in 1856, and settled in Ohio; he emigrated to Iowa in 1858, and located in Iowa City, and came to this county in 1866; owns 300 acres of land; he married Ellen Badley in 1866; she was born in Indiana; has four children: Elmer, Curty, Curtis and Alice; lost three.
