Winterset; born in Brown county, Ohio, in 1850, and came to this county in 1872; owns 90 acres of land; has held office of town clerk; he married Miss A. (America) Watters, December 28, 1871; she was born in Brown county, Ohio; has one child: Cordelia M.; lost one daughter: Lillie F.
