Anderson Shaw, Webster twp., farmer and stock-raiser, Sec. 26; P.O. Winterset; born in Brown county, Ohio, in 1826; came to this county March 7, 1872; owns 320 acres of land; he married Miss Rachel Pindell in 1849; she was born in Ohio; has three children: Amos E., Sarah J. and Mahlon.
