J. V. Nelson, Webster twp., physician and surgeon, Sec. 6; P.O. Middle River; was born in Adams county, Ohio, in 1843; during the war of the rebellion he enlisted in the 17th Ohio Infantry and served two years; he received his medical education in Cincinnati, Ohio, and came to this State in 1869 and has practiced his profession since that time; he married Miss Elizabeth Nichols in 1875; she was born in Pennsylvania; has one child: Verda V.
