James Maxwell, Jackson twp., farmer, Sec. 28; P.O. Macksburg; born in Knox county, Illinois, in 1844; lived there until twenty-eight years of age, then came to this county purchasing a very desirable eighty acres of land, which he has thoroughly improved.
