H. C. Klingman, Winterset, carriage trimmer and ornamental painter; born in Ohio in 1828; came to this county March 11, 1877; he enlisted in the 172nd Ohio Inf. in the late war, and served until the regiment was mustered out; he married Miss Anna Lindsey in 1873; she was born in Ohio.
