W. M. Kivett, Grand River twp., farmer, Sec. 6; P.O. Wells; was born in North Carolina in 1826; his father emigrated to Indiana in 1831; came to this county in 1855; owns 225 acres of land; has held office of justice of the peace and other township offices; he married Miss Anna Ellmore; has four children: Mary E., Wm. H., Elmira J. and Leroy.
