S. L. Holliday, Winterset, grocer and provision dealer; born in Indiana in 1840; came to this county in 1854; has held the office of county auditor four years, and served as a member of the city council; he married Miss Ellen Dabney December 31, 1861; she was born in Illinois; has four children: John H. Orin S., Florence M. and Nellie.
