M. S. Holderbaum, Penn twp., farmer, Sec. 5; P.O. Dexter: owns 152 acres of land; born in Holmes county, Ohio, in 1848; came to Iowa in 1869; married in 1874 to Miss Rosa Leochner, of Ohio; has three children living: Chas. W., Mary R. and Nora L.; Mr. Holderbaum is turning his attention to fine stock, and now owns one of the finest stallions in the county, French Norman, a most happy combination of Draft and speed, is valued at $2,000.
