Henry Harris, Douglas twp., Sec 24; P.O. Winterset; born in Berkshire county, Massachusetts, March 21, 1827; he lived some years in New York, and came to this county in March, 1865; owns 201 ½ acres of land; he married Miss Betsey Harris, in 1852; she was born in New York; has three children: Flora Etta, Amy B. and Lizzie M.
