Mrs. Martha Egy, Lincoln twp., farmer, Sec. 7; P.O. Winterset; was born in Washington county, Pennsylvania; her maiden name was Hughes; she married David Egy December 7, 1847; he was born in Washington county, Pennsylvania, in 1824; came to this county in 1855; Mr. Egy died in 1869, leaving an estate of 404 acres of land and four children: Jonathan W. L., James S., George M. H. and David P. P.; lost one daughter, Sarah E.
