J. B. Carter, Grand River twp., farmer, Sec. 18; P.O. Macksburg; was born in Ohio in 1845; he came to this county in 1870; he owns eighty acres of land; he married Miss Julia A. Osborne in October 1874; she was born in Ohio; has two children: Bennie and Elton.
