W. H. Bellows, farmer, Sec. 33; P.O. Dexter; owns 160 acres of land; was born in Meigs county, Ohio, in 1835; came from there to Delaware county, Iowa, in 1852, and then to Madison county in 1868; he married in 1861, Miss Sarah Elizabeth Cox, of Ohio; has three children living: Ada M., Florence M. and Olive M.; Mr. Bellows has held various offices of trust and has
been township trustee for three years; has one daughter, Ada, teaching school.
