Armstrong, George, farmer and stock-raiser, Sec. 9, Union twp., P. O. Winterset; born in Ireland in 1817; came to America in 1826 and settled in Ohio, and came to this county in 1857; owns 175 acres of land; married Miss Susan Guiberson in 1840; she was born in Holmes county, Ohio; has one son: Samuel; lost one daughter, Elizabeth A.
