Armbrest, Casper, Winterset; boot and shoe-maker; born in Knox county, Ohio, in 1843; came to this county in 1858; he enlisted in the 4th Iowa Inf., and re-enlisted as a veteran; he married Miss Mary Odell in 1865; she was born in Bucyrus, Ohio; has five children: Maggie A., Mabel R., Eli M., Effie and Solomon W.
