Carl Kleinwolterink, age 76, of Hull, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Lyon Manor Nursing and Rehab in Rock Rapids, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 23, 2015, at 10:30 A.M. at Doon United Reformed Church in Doon, Iowa. Rev. Simon Lievaart officiating. Burial to follow at the Hillside Cemetery, in Doon, Iowa.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 22, from 1:00 to 6:00 P.M. with the family present from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Andringa Funeral Home Sheldon Funeral Service in Sheldon, Iowa.

Carl Kleinwolterink, age 76, of Hull, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Lyon Manor Nursing and Rehab in Rock Rapids, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 23, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Doon United Reformed Church in Doon, Iowa. Rev. Simon Lievaart officiating.

Burial to follow at the Hillside Cemetery, in Doon, Iowa.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 22, from 1:00 to 6:00 P.M. with the family present from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Andringa Funeral Home Sheldon Funeral Service in Sheldon, Iowa.

Carl Dean Kleinwolterink was born on March 24, 1938 in Orange City, Iowa. He was the son of Samuel and Jeanette (Lubbers) Kleinwolterink. He lived his youth on a farm north of Hull, Iowa, attended a country school, Hull Christian Grade School and Western Christian High School, where he graduated in 1956.

He was united in marriage to Jeanette Fedders of Sioux Center, Iowa on February 11, 1958 at the First Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center. They lived on the family farm north of Hull, where Carl farmed until 2014, when he became ill.

Carl was a member of United Reformed Church in Doon, Iowa.
Carl and Jeanette enjoyed motorcycle trips to Sturgis, South Dakota, for many summers. When Carl was younger he enjoyed hunting, fishing and trap shooting. He trophied in the Amateur Trapshooting Association in Ohio. In his later years he enjoyed shooting starlings with his target rifle. He also enjoyed being around his friends and family, and having coffee at the Corner Café in Doon.
He passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Lyon Manor Nursing and Rehab in Rock Rapids, Iowa.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife: Jeanette Kleinwolterink of Rock Rapids, Iowa; two sons and daughters-in-law: Paul and Jan Kleinwolterink of Gilbert, Iowa, and their children, Megan, Cody, Tyler and Dylan; Todd and Anita Kleinwolterink of Sioux Center, Iowa, and their children, Joel and Janae; one step-brother: Leland and wife Jeanne Krull of Mesa, Arizona; and Jeanette's mother, Jeanette's siblings and their spouses, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Jeanette Kleinwolterink, step-mother, Anna Kleinwolterink; brother and his wife, Roger and Carol Kleinwolterink; and father-in-law, Ben Fedders.
