Alvord, Iowa - Beth Knobloch, age 53 of Alvord, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her home, surrounded by family, near Alvord.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Monday, February 2nd at the Apostolic Christian Church in Lester, Iowa.

Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery in Lester, Iowa.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 1st with family present from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Lester.

Alvord, Iowa - Beth Knobloch, age 53 of Alvord, died Thursday, January 29, 2015, at her home, surrounded by family, near Alvord. After a tumultuous five and a half month journey with brain cancer, she peacefully went home and has been freed from her cross.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Monday, February 2nd at the Apostolic Christian Church in Lester, Iowa. Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery in Lester, Iowa.

Beth Laree Mogler was born February 10, 1961, at Rock Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Lillian (Luthi) Mogler. She was raised on the family farm near Lester, Iowa, and graduated from West Lyon High School in 1979. She continued her education at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and worked at Inwood Furniture following graduation.

Beth was united in marriage to Myron Knobloch on February 9, 1986, at Lester, Iowa. Five children were born to this union. In 1987 Beth and Myron started their business, Knobloch’s Greenhouse, near Alvord, Iowa. Beth enjoyed spending her time working in the greenhouse, especially the spring retail season, and spent the off season preparing and organizing for the coming year. She also picked and packaged vegetables which she enjoyed selling at farmer’s market. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crafts, and especially time spent with family and friends. Beth was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church for 34 years.

Those blessed to have shared in Beth’s life and left to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 29 years, Myron Knobloch of Alvord, Iowa; her children, Laura (Aaron) Kaeb of Lowell, Michigan, Brett, Clark, Amy, and Darin Knobloch, all of Alvord, Iowa; parents, Howard and Lillian Mogler; brothers, Rodney (Lois) Mogler of Alvord, Iowa, Kent (Mary) Mogler of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, Brian (Bev) Mogler of Alvord, Iowa, Dwight (Donna) Mogler of Alvord, Iowa; sister, Wendy (Thadd) Knoblock of Rock Rapids, Iowa; sister-in-law, Jessica Mogler of Larchwood, Iowa; and in-laws Ezra and Marie Knobloch of Rock Rapids, Iowa, Brenda Knobloch of Salem, Oregon, Gloria (Brad) Moser of Larchwood, Iowa, Melody (Gary) Schulz of Burlington, Iowa, Neil (June) Knobloch of Wolcott, Indiana, and Lance (Kristi) Knobloch of Alvord, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; and her brother, Perry Mogler.
