HARRY ARENDS
Rock Rapids – Harry Arends, 82, of Rock Rapids died Wednesday, January 2, 2002, at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist church in George, Iowa. Burial will be in First Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday, with the family present 2 to 4 p.m. at Roste Funeral Home in Rock Rapids.

Harry Arends was born July 5, 1919 in South Dakota, the son of John and Mary (Johnson) Arends. He married Helen Winter, the daughter of George and Tena (Jurrens) Winter.
