Kevin Sehr, 31, of Harrisburg, S.D., died of accidental asphyxiation Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, near Harrisburg.

Services will be tomorrow (thursday) at 2 p.m. at Inwood Christian Reformed Church with interment in Richland Cemetery.

Mr. Sehr was born Jan. 17, 1973, in Canton, S.D., the son of Tom and Rita Sehr. He attended West Lyon Community School, Inwood, graduating in 1991. He attended South Dakota State University and Worthington (Minn.) Community College before attending the University of South Dakota where he graduated with a degree in criminology in 1995. He worked in law enforcement for the Hurley (S.D.) Police Department, then the Lennox (S.D.) Police Department four years, serving as chief of police two years. He worked for Sturgis (S.D.) Law Enforcement during the motorcycle rally several years. He worked for Ballard Maintenance part-time 14 years. He was currently working for House Doctors and had his own business, K&R Construction.

Survivors include his parents of Inwood; two children, Tye and Kady; two brothers, Randy of Larchwood and Gene of Sioux Falls, S.D., and his grandmother, Ann Sehr of Canton.
