Sennie (VanPykeren) Nyenhuis – May 9, 1891 – August 21, 1954

Mrs. Sennie Nyenhuis, nee Van Pykeren, was born May 9, 1891, near Sioux Center, Iowa, and was 63 years old at the time of her passing.

She was united in marriage to William Nyenhuis Jan. 7, 1916. To the union 4 children were born; Willis of Rock Rapids, Jeanette (Mrs. Abe Fien) of Artesia, California; Gerrit of Rock Rapids, Floyd of Artesia, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1952, and also 1 grandson, and one sister and two brothers.

She is survived by these children and 11 grandchildren, her aged mother, Mrs. Rikkers and 2 brothers. Mr, Frank Van Pykeren, Mr. Gerrit Van Pykeren; 4 sisters, Mrs. Alice Nyenhuis of Hull, Mrs. Jnhn Spronk of Edgerton, Minn., Mrs. Aart Spronk of Beaver Creek, Minn.. Mrs. Peter De Jongh of Steen, Minnesota.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Christian Reformed Church in Rock Rapids, Iowa. Rev. Veenstra and Rev. Heitbrink had charge of the services. Interment was in Hope Cemetery at Hull.
