ALETHA VASELAAR, 100, of George, died Thursday, June 14, 2007, at Prairie View Home, Sanborn, Iowa.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Roste Funeral Home, George.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lyon County First Presbyterian Church, George, with the Rev. Paul Fischer and the Rev. Dale Lint officiating. Burial will be in Lyon County First Presbyterian Cemetery.

Aletha Grace Bonk was born October 15, 1906 in Lyon County, Iowa the daughter of Geerd Frederich “Fred” Bonk and Franke “Fannie” (Willemssen) Bonk.

She married David Vaselaar, the son of Alex Vaselaar and Taalke (Klinkenborg) Sterler Vaselaar
