Helen Ann (Kanengieter) Dammer – June 30, 1917 – May 1, 2006

Little Rock -- Helen Ann Dammer was born June 30, 1917 at Little Rock, Iowa, the daughter of Andrew Kanengieter and Grace (Dreesen) Kanengieter. She lived her youth and attended school in Little Rock.

On September 25, 1941 she married Sievert W Dammer. They made their home in Iowa, South Dakota, and California. Helen worked as a caregiver for most of her life. She loved being a grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family. She passed away May 1, 2006 at the Fredric Nursing and Rehab at the age of 88.

Helen leaves to cherish her memories two daughters; Verda Bergen of Calimesa, California and Verlene and husband Jim Pearson of Frederic, Wisconsin.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Rock Rapids, Iowa. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Little Rock. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Bolin Funeral Home in Little Rock.
