Walter Niemeyer – April 17, 1894 – September 20, 1970

WALTER NIEMEYER

Funeral services were held at the First Reformed church at Doon at 1:30 p.m. September 23 for Walter Niemeyer, 76, of Doon, who died September 20 at the Rock Rapids hospital.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Norman Menning and burial was made In Hillside cemetery at Doon.

Mr. Niemeyer was born in The Netherlands April 17, 1894. He was married to Hendrieka Van Grootheest Sept. 27, 1923.

Survivors include the widow: three sons, Gerrit and William of Doon and Henry of Aurelia; two daughters. Mrs. Dick Keizer of Doon and Mrs. Wm. Keizer of Hull; two sisters In The Netherlands; 21 grandchildren.
