Margo (Porter) Breitag

April 22, 1947 – November 30, 2009

Margo Breitag, 62, of Bemidji, Minnesota, died Monday, November 30, 2009, at Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, in Inwood Community Center.

Margo Porter was born April 22, 1947, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the daughter of Stanley and Lorraine (Coyer) Porter. She attended West Lyon Schools, graduating in 1965. She worked at Trumms Drug Store in Canton, South Dakota.

On October 8, 1975, she married Gary Breitag. They moved to Bemidji in September 1975. She worked at Glass Block Drug, Xen’s Sporting Goods, Bemidji School District and as a nationally certified massage therapist. They had been winter residents of Lake Havasu City the past eight years.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Scott of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Leslie) Pomenich of Lake Havasu City; one granddaughter; two stepsons, Jason and Travis, both of Cave Breek, Arizona; three stepdaughters, Val Breitag of Carthage, Missouri, Holly Gallun of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Tylynn Gordan of Washington, D.C.; three stepgrandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Tom (Nancy) Myers of Green Valley, Arizona, and Mrs. Dean (Emily) Dalzell of Denver, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
