Beverly J. Anderson, 78, of Coldwater, MI, formerly of Rock Rapids, IA, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the Community Health Center of Branch County. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Beverly was born on May 17, 1933 to Herman and Mildred (Klein) Groenewold in Worthmgton, Minnesota. She married James L. Anderson on August 29, 1952 in Rushmore, MN. He preceded her in death on December 29, 1985.

She and her husband had been active in the V.F.W. and were members of the First Congregational Church in Rock Rapids, Iowa where she lived for many years. She moved to Coldwater in 2005 to be closer to her family.

Beverly worked at several places in Rock Rapids through the years, including; Rock River Golf Course, Rock Rapids Farm Supply and DeWild-Grant & Reckert Assoc.

She is survived by her three children Jeffrey Anderson and Bonnie Clark of Coldwater, Kathy Fueston of Spencer, IA, her brother Roger Groenewold of Eau Claire, WI, her sister Marilyn (Ronald) Henderson of Hudson,SD, her grandchildren Brady Bakker, Kristi VanLeeuwen, Kirby Nehring, Kyle Fueston, Jeffrey Anderson, Karah Shephard, Tabatha Ennik, Jon Anderson and 7 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter Holly Dengler and her great grandson Michael Anderson.
