Aged Resident of Inwood Dies; Buried Friday

Serious Illness Fatal to Mrs. Nikoline Danielson

INWOOD - Funeral services for Mrs. Nikoline Danielson, were held at Bethlehem Lutheran church on Friday, Aug. 16 at 2 o'clock following a short service at Porter Funeral Chapel. Pastor B. H. J. Habel, a former pastor of Bethlehem church, officiated. Burial was in Our Savior church cemetery, northwest of Inwood.

Mrs. Danielson was born at Decorah, Iowa, on Jan. 7, 1886. After her marriage, she and her husband farmed a number of years west of Inwood. They retired from the farm and moved to Inwood over 30 years ago. Her husband preceded her in death. She was for a number of years busy with rug making and was always active in church and Ladies Aid work. She was an honorary member of Bethlehem Women's Society at the time of her death. For some time she made her home with her son, Harold and family near Canton where she became seriously ill and was taken to Canton-Inwood hospital, where after an illness of several weeks she died on August 12 at the age of 89 years, seven months and five days.

Pall bearers were nephews, Pete, Floyd and Ben Nelson; Alex, Henry and John Feay.

Suvivors are three sons, Harold and Nelmer Danielson of Canton, and Jake Danielson on the west coast; three daughters, Mrs. Alfred Monen of Inwood, Mrs. Nora Skiftness of Calif., and Mrs. Emma Nelson, Duluth, Minn.; one brother, two sisters and a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
