ANNA DALMAN

January 10, 1921----November 23, 2010

MAPLE LAKE, MINNESOTA — Anna Bertha (Zylstra) Dalman, 89, died on November 23, 2010 at a care center in Annandale, Minnesota. Memorial services were held at Silver Creek Community Church, with burial at Lakeview Cemetery in Minnesota.

Anna was born January 10, 1921, at Doon, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Sophie (Rozeboom) Weidema. She attended Doon Public School, graduating from the 8th grade.

She married Henry Zylstra on February 25, 1938, in Doon, and they lived and farmed for three years on the former Grandpa Harm Zylstra farm, about a mile north of Doon. They left Doon in 1941 and moved to Anoka, Minnesota, where they farmed for five years. In 1946 they moved to their farm near Maple Lake, Minnesota, where they farmed for forty years.

Her husband Henry died on May 21, 1986. She married John Dalman on September 12, 1987 and he preceded her in death in 1993.

Survivors include her children; three daughters, Sally and Keith Schermer and Bonnie and Melvin Rozenberg, both of Maple Lake, Minnesota, and Cindy and Michael Moss, of Clearwater, Minnesota; and one son. David and Darlene Zylstra, Maple Lake, Minnesota, one sister, Sophie DeBoer of Monticello, Minnesota; one brother Henry Weidema of Champlin, Minnesota; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; nephews, Doug Zyistra, CO, Ron Zylstra, Inwood and Don Aardema, Doon; nieces, Sylvia Venenga. Hull, Sharon Zylstra, Sioux Falls, Betty Zylstra, Akron, and Shirley Sneller, Doon.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary and Tina; two brothers, Thomas and Rudolph.
