Darline Reynolds, 73, died Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Lakes Regional Hospital, Spirit Lake.
Services were Thursday at Turner Funeral Home, Spirit Lake.

Darline Dieters was born July 24, 1930, in Rock Rapids, the daughter of Ben and Bernice Dieters. She earned a BA degree at Sioux Falls College and an MA in education at Augustana. She began her teaching career in a country school in 1948. She taught at Central Lyon High School, Rock Rapids, and Emmetsburg and was a special education consultant with Lakeland Area Education Agency, retiring in 1988.

On Dec. 17, 1949, she married Ken Reynolds at Rock Rapids. The couple moved from Rock Rapids to Arnolds Park in 1977.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Brian of Arnolds Park and Brad of Rock Rapids; two daughters, Bobbi Grafing of Rock Rapids and Sandy Meschk of Chandler, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her mother, Bernice Dieters of Rock Rapids; one brother, Carl of Rock Rapids, and two sisters, Bernice Norton of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Wilma Shubert of Rock Rapids.

Preceding her death were her father and one brother, George.
