Clyde Bird, 89, of Waterloo died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at a nursing home in Waterloo.

Services were Wednesday in Waterloo.

Mr. Bird was born and grew up in Rock Rapids, graduating from Rock Rapids High School in 1932.

He is survived by his wife, Irene, one son and grandchildren.
