The late Mrs. A. D. M. Simmerman was born at George, Ia., on November 25, 1892, and died at Fremont Nebraska, March 14, 1917, at the age of 24 years, three months, and 19 days. She had been ill for several weeks, suffering from a tumor on the liver, during which time she also became the mother of a daughter, on February 20, 1917.
Deceased was a graduate of the George high school in the class of 1910, and for several years was a popular and efficient teacher in the country schools of Lyon county. In August, 1915, she was married to A. D. R. Simmerman, of Fremont. The remains arrived in George on Thursday evening, March 15. Funeral services wereheld Monday, March 19, from the Baptist church in town, Reverend Kaup and Boell, assisted by E. M. Freerk officiating, after which the remains were laid to rest in Evergreen Lawn cemetery west of towns

She leaves to mourn her loss besides her beloved husband and daughter, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Reints, of George, a half sister, Miss Julia Oltmann, of George, a half brother, Harry Reints, of Madison S. D., and two brothers, Will Reints, of Nebraska, and Newman, of Montana, besides a host of friends.
