MRS ABRAHAM WOLF MYERS

Sunday afternoon, June 19, 1904, at 1:30 Mrs. Abraham Wolf passed peacefully away at the family residence in this city. after a protracted illness. About two years ago she was taken ill with nervous prostration which later developed into what physlclans call motor atrophy or the paralysis of the motor nerves. She had almost entirely lost the use of her arms and at times her limbs refused to perform their functions, as in locomotor ataxia. Many times during her illness her life had been dispaired of, but she always rallied till the attack last week. All that medical skill and best nursing could do was of no
avail.

Miss Helen Adella Aldrich was born at Smithport, Pennsylvania, November 1, 1849; moved with the family to Deansvllle, Wis., ln 1857, and ln 1866 they moved to Lone Rock, Wis., where in 1872 she was united in marriage to Abraham Wolf. In 1891 the family moved to Rock Rapids, where they have since resided.

Eight children were born to this union, seven in Wisconsin and the youngest in Rock Rapids. One daughter, Ida May, died in 1887 at the age of eighteen months. The rest survive with the husband. They are; Helen M., teacher ln the clty high school, Lois C. Olson and Howard A. who live at Carrington, ND, Rose A. Myers, who resides at Ruthven, Ia., Ruby D., Theodore D. and Cyril L. who live at home; and Ida May, deceased. The seven living children all came home to attend the funeral, Mrs. Olson having been here fer several weeks, Mr. and Mrs. Myers arriving yesterday morning from Ruthven.

Mrs, Wolf was a prominent member of the M. E. Church and W. R. C.. and was dearly beloved by all her associates. She was one of the most. highly respected ladies in the community, was a loving mother and wife, and will be greatly mourned by all. The funeral was held from the house at 10:30 yesterday morning, the services belng conducted by Rev. E. S. Johnson of the M. E. Church.
