Henry Klahn died Saturday, April 14, in Rock Rapids, of senility after an illness of three or four days. Brief services were held at the Lockwood & Pirwitz chapel Tuesday, and the remains, accompanied by John Klahn and Albert Klahn, were taken to New Liberty, Ia., the old family home, for burial. The deceased man was born November 11, 1852, in Germany and came to America when he was 5 years old. He spent most of his life at New Liberty. He came to Lyon county twelve or fifteen years ago. He is survived by two brothers, John, of Rock Rapids, and Charles, of Alvord, and one sister, Mrs. Anne
Tietgen, of Moline, Ill.
