Former resident dies in Kansas.
Funeral services for Mrs. Viola T. Lacy, the former Viola Collins, were held at the Fulton Nickel funeral home in Kansas City, Kansas on May 9, after her death on May 6, 1967. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Lacy died at her home in Kansas City following a four month illness. She was born in George, Iowa, and had lived in Kansas since 1946. She lived in Elk Point for some time and graduated from the Elk Point high school with the class of 1934. She was a member of the University Evangelical United Brethren church.

Surviving are her husband, Harry W. Lacy of the home; one son, Herschel Lacy of the home; her mother, Mrs. Sena Collins of Elk Point, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Verna Rosenbaum of Elk Point, Iowa and Mrs. Rosella Wilson of Sioux Falls, Iowa.
