John Stubbe, a son of Henry and Wupke Hisken Stubbe was born May 7, 1902 in the Netherlands. He was united in marriage to Cornelia Stip on March 2, 1927 in Rock Rapids, Iowa. He passed away at the hospital in Luverne, Minnesota on Mary 25, 1969.

Survivors include is wife, Cornelia; two daughters, Winifred, Mrs. Peter Reck of Rock Rapids and Cornelia, Mrs. Wendell Selken of Rock Rapids; one son, Leroy, or St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren; one brother, Hilko Stubbe of Rock Rapids; an uncle, Ben Stubbe of Rock Rapids; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Funeral services for John Stubbe were held on Wednesday, May 28, 1969 at Bethel Reformed Church, Ellsworth, Minnesota with interment in Riverview Cemetery of Rock Rapids, Iowa.
