Newspaper-1915-Mrs. C. Krahling buried Sunday-Mrs Conrad Krahling, beloved wife of Conrad Krahling of this city, died at their home after an illness of several months duration. Death was not unexpected, and the grief of parting was tempered by the knowledge that her earthly suffering were over. Funeral services were held in George, Sunday, from the Methodist Episcopal church, Rev. Mr. Goeringer of Rock Rapids preaching in German and Rev. A.E. Boell of George preaching in English. Funeral services were also held at the Zion Lutheran church, east of George, conducted by Rev. Mr. Senft, and burial was made in the Zion cemetery. Rev. Goeringer selected as his text Psalm 126, and Rev. Boell's text was Psalm 23-in compliance with the wish of the depated. Music was furnished by a mixed quartette, the members of which were Messrs. George Wilcox and Fred Raker and the Misses Mabel Buren and Edith Freerks. The pall bearers were the 6 sons-a touching and unusual coincidence. The floral offerings were lavish and very beautiful and were a worthy testimonial of the respect and esteem in which the deceased was held by those who knew and loved her. In the hour of sorrow it was a comforting thought that the bereaved had the heatfelt sympathy of so many friends and neighbors.

"A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled
God in his wisdom has recalled
The boom his love has given,
A though the body slumbers here
The soul is safe in heaven."
