Troy Rosenboom was born June 5, 1976 at Sibley, Osceola county, Iowa. He was the sone of Randy and Brenda (Krull) Rosenboom. He grew up in the George and Rock Rapids area and attending school in George.

He was a senior in high school and was on the varsity football and basketball teams. He was a member of the Hope Reformed Church of George, and a member of the Reformed Church Youth Fellowship.

Troy died on Thursday, October 21, 1993, at rural George, Iowa, at the age of 17 years, four months and 15 days.

He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Randy and Brenda Rosenboom of Rock Rapids, Iowa and one brother, Jody Rosenboom, at home. Also left to cherish his memories are his grandparents, Gene and Evnelyn (Krull) Olson and Elmer and Clara Rosenboom, all of Rock Rapids, Iowa, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Troy Rosenboom were held Sunday, October 24, 1993 at Hope Reformed Church of George, Iowa with burial at Hope Reformed Church Cemetery the same day.
