Harm Goldhorn was born July 19, 1901 to Ben Goldhorn and Margaret Harms, at their home in Liberal township near George, Lyon county, Iowa. He attended the rural school there. He was a member of the Hope Reformed Church of rural George. On Nov 2nd he suffered a stroke and was taken to the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley where he passed away Monday evening, Nov 18, attaining the age of 73 years, 3 months and 29 days.

On Feb 14, 1924 she was united in marriage to Minnie Jansen. To this union were born 2 daughters: Darlene (Mrs. Ira Kruger) of George and Delores (Mrs. Florin Van Tilberg) of George. Other survivors are: 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Eilert of George, Alvin of Cherokee, Iowa; 3 sisters: Minnie Siebrands of George, Christine (Mrs. Henry Bruns) of George, Anna Lewark of Rock Rapids, Iowa.
