Funeral services for Darlene Faber, 60, of George, Lyon county, Iowa were held August 25, 1992at Immanuel Lutheran Church, George with interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, near Boyden, Sioux county, Iowa.

She died Friday, August 21, 1992 at a hospital in Sheldon, Iowa.

Darlene Meyer was born April 13, 1932 at rural Boyden. She attended country school and worked as a secretary at the George State Bank in George, until her early retirement due to health reasons.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Lila) Warman of Wyoming, Michigan, and Suzanne Faber of Sheldon; one granddaughter, two brothers, Irvin of George and Vernon of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and one sister, Mrs. Jim (Grace) Van Rennes of Sheldon.
