Funeral services for Jennie Korthals, 100, of Steen, Rock county, Minnesota, were held July 2, 1992 in Reformed Church of Steen with interment in Eastside Cemetery.

She died June 28, 1992 in tuff Memorial Home in Hills, Rock county, Minnesota.

Jennie Kroon was born January 31, 1892 in the Netherlands. She moved with her parents when she was young to Perkins, Sioux county, Iowa, where she received her education. She also lived in Hull, also in Sioux county.

On October 31, 1910, she married Mass Korthals. They moved to Rock Rapids, Lyon county, Iowa, and then to rural Steen, where she helped her husband on their family farm. They retired from farming in 1944 and then moved to town.

Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Dick and John, both of Luverne, Minnesota; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
