Funeral services for Paul M. Allen, 52, Boerne, Texas, were held on August 8 in Boerne. He died at his home on August 4, 1981.

Allen was born on September 1, 1928, at Alvord, Lyon county, Iowa, where he lived until 1942. He then moved to Larchwood with his family. On February 9, 1952 he married Mary O'Keefe.

He lived for many years in Chicago, where he was employed by Oliver Machinery, W.R. Grace company, and Weber-Costello, before moving to Watertown, Massachusetts. He retired in 1976 due to ill health.

Survivors include his widow; a son, Patrick; and a daughter, Mary, both at home; three sisters: Marjorie Flanner, Montrose, S.D., Agnes Allen, Sioux Falls, and Patricia Allen, Omaha, Nebraska; and a brother, Mervin, Puyallup, Washington.
