Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Wiese, 102, were held Friday, August 14, 1981 at St. John's Lutheran church in Woodstock, Minnesota. She died on Tuesday, August 11, 1981 at Parkview Manor nursing home in Ellsworth, Minnesota.

She was born on May 17, 1879, in Germany, and married Richard Wiese on November 5, 1902. They farmed at Ellsworth, Luverne and Woodstock. He died in 1956. She had been a resident at the nursing home for nine years.

Survivors include three sons: William, of Woodstock, Walt, of Austin, Minnesota, and Gus, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; eight daughters: Ella Johnson, Hattie Block and Norma Hagge, all of Rock Rapids; Cecelia Hanson, Pipestone, Minnesota; Mrs. George (Alvina) Bartunick, Sioux Falls, Mrs. Robert (Mabel) Fieman, Pierre, S.D., Leona Wiese, Ellsworth, and Katherine Baraaten, Portland, Oregon; and many descendants.
