Funeral services for Henry Pedersen, age 76, of Canton, South Dakota, will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Canton Lutheran church. Burial will be in Richland cemetery at Inwood, Lyon county, Iowa, under the direction of Porter Funeral Home of Inwood.

He died on Saturday, April 18, 1981, in a Sioux Falls, South Dakota hospital following a lengthy illness.

Pedersen was born on April 14, 1905; in Denmark, and came to the United States in 1924.

On December 26, 1935 he married Melvia Baldwin in Sioux Falls. They farmed in the Inwood area until 1974 when they retired and moved to Canton.

Survivors include the widow; one son, Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Karla) Herr, both of Sioux Falls; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Ejner, of Inwood, and Aage, of Denmark.
