Funeral services for Joseph Conrad “Joe” Rutten, 64, of Pocatello, Idaho, were held February 13, 1992 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Pocatello, Bannock county, Idaho with interment in Mountainview Cemetery.

He died February 9, 1992 in the Bannock Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Rutten was born February 11, 1927 in Larchwood, Lyon county, Iowa. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Larchwood. He served in the army during World War II and received the American Theater Ribbon and the Victory medal.

On July 8, 1959, he married Mildred Evans. He preceded him in death.

On August 8, 1981 he married Dorothy Kelley.

We was a member of the Pocatello Elks Lodge #674, American Legion Post 4, VFW Post 735 and a life member of DAV.

Survivors include his wife; three brothers, John of Jasper, Minnesota, and Ed and Matt, both of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; two sisters, Mrs. Glen (Esther) Horton or Sioux Falls and Mary Krejei of Hills, Minnesota, 12 grandchildren and three stepchildren.
