Funeral services for Tom Bruns, 89, of Bemidji, Minnesota were held February 6, 1992 at Tabernacle Baptist Church of George, Lyon county, Iowa with interment in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery west of town.

Mr. Bruns was born November 10, 1902 at George. He attended country school and lived most of his life in the George area.

He married Anna Busker who died in 1976. In 1976 he married Esther Nord of Bemidji, Minnesota where they resided.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Reldon (Riloa) Severson of Bemidji, and Mrs. Herchel (Mardean) Martindale of Columbia, Maryland; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Aubrey (Reka) Chisholm of Austin Texas.
